NOTEWORTHY At the time of his graduation, Tabor held program career records for games won (34), complete games (28), career starts (46), innings pitched (368) and strikeouts (261). He still holds records for games won and complete games, and the record for wins by a freshman pitcher (10)....He was a freshman on Arkansas’ 1979 team that finished national runner-up....He was voted All-Southwest Conference during his junior and senior seasons in 1981 and 1982....Tabor was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 12th round of the 1982 MLB Draft and pitched five minor-league seasons. He reached Class AAA as part of the Kansas City Royals’ system in 1986.
